Amazon

Probably one of the most recognisable brands in the world, Amazon is a multinational company specialising in ecommerce, digital streaming (Amazon Prime TV) and AI (‘Alexa, what’s the time?’). 

One of Amazon’s unique selling points is being able to deliver everyday items quickly. To do this, they need an army of people – around 55,000 people in the UK, in fact – and this number is growing all the time.  

This year alone, Amazon opened five new parcel and distribution centres in Hinckley, Doncaster, Dartford, Gateshead and Swindon. They also plan to add more team members to its corporate offices in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cambridge.
