What's it like to be a Jeweller?

"I initially started out in the industry by working at a jewellers during the summer, while I was still in full-time education. I’d always been interested in fashion, and I was instantly hooked as soon as I started working there (the discount may have helped). I do everything from help couples pick out the perfect wedding ring, to resizing jewellery that’s been passed through generations. I'm now studying jewellery design at college, and hopefully I’ll be taking this on to university. My dream is to work independently and start selling my designs to the public. I'm a long way off yet, but working every week in an industry I love feels amazing."
