Our client is looking for Recoveries Handlers to work as part of the Recoveries team recovering debt from clients’ or third parties.
Key responsibilities will include: Successfully managing a caseload of files - through thorough investigation of the claim and accuracy of the information; Gathering documentation from the client/repairing garage/engineer to establish Client’s claim; Checking all information is correct to enable successful and quick recovery from the third party; Discussing liability and liaising with claims department to gather all relevant information to argue any disputes with third party insurers; Pursuing clients or insurers for the recovery of debt in the appropriate manner and in accordance with SRA/legal guidelines.
For consideration for these position you must be a driver or currently learning to drive and have a good understanding of debt recovery. In addition, an understanding of the RTA claims processes would be useful but not essential, as would experience of working within a Motor Claims /Credit Hire environment.
