Overview
This course will provide practical skills development of the fundamental tools, techniques and structured methodologies for problem solving. Delegates will leave the course with the capability to lead a problem-solving team in the application of the key tools within a small scope business problem or task, and to lead the development of robust and sustainable solutions.

Description
This course will enable you to ensure customer and stakeholder requirements are part of the scoping of problem-solving activities and lead a team to develop standard responses to contain problems and reduce impact to customers/stakeholders. List key tools and techniques to assess and mitigate risk in the initial stages of problem understanding and the deployment of solutions, including but not limited to risk matrix, FMEA, PDPC and mistake proofing. Lead a team to generate ideas for solutions using idea generation techniques including but not limited to silent idea generation and structured idea generation.

This course is aimed at those managing problem solving and requiring knowledge of the use of fundamental problems solving tools supporting customer and stakeholder needs.
Requirements
We recommend that you complete FD102: Introduction to Problem Solving prior to this course.
