Description
Programme Overview
Whether you are employed full-time, working part-time, or currently unemployed, this programme is designed with flexibility in mind. You can progress at your own pace, completing the training in just a few weeks or spreading it out over several months. The journey towards your new career is structured into four clear steps.
Step 1 – HTML and CSS Online Training (Approx. 12 weeks)
The first step focuses on completing a set of professional, industry-recognised courses. These have been carefully selected to provide maximum value for both your learning and career development.
HTML Essentials (6 weeks)
CSS Essentials (6 weeks)
Training is delivered online through a combination of video tutorials, presentations, and interactive quizzes. You will have access to a dedicated portal, allowing you to study anytime, anywhere. In addition, you’ll be supported by an expert tutor and a personal mentor to guide you throughout your studies.
Upon completion of the HTML and CSS courses, you will be ready to move forward to the next stage.
Step 2 – Advanced Online Training (Approx. 12 weeks)
The second step introduces more advanced topics to strengthen your programming knowledge.
Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)
JavaScript is the backbone of web development and is used in nearly every online application. Python, on the other hand, is highly versatile—suitable for tasks ranging from small scripts to large-scale projects—and is widely used across industries.
Step 3 – Portfolio Development & Additional Certifications (Approx. 1 week + additional courses)
At this stage, you will put your skills into practice by building a portfolio website project to showcase your abilities. Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to achieve additional globally recognised certifications, including:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
These certifications further strengthen your professional profile and broaden your career options.
Step 4 – Junior Programmer Placement (£25K – £40K)
Once your training is complete, our dedicated recruitment team will work with you to secure your first role as a Junior Programmer. Typical starting salaries range from £25,000 to £40,000.
While you gain hands-on experience in your new role, we will also release the next stage of your training. This advanced training is specifically designed to further develop your skills and support your progression in the programming field.
Who is this course for?
There is a big skills shortage in the IT industry, which means companies are looking for new talent—both people starting their careers and those switching from other fields.
Through this programme, we help graduates find roles with top UK companies that need entry-level programmers who are ready to start working with the latest skills.
The best part is you don’t need any previous experience. The training is fully accredited and includes tutor support and mentoring, giving you the practical skills, knowledge, and qualifications you need to start a career in coding. Plus, you’ll have the security of a job guarantee with a starting salary between £25K–£40K once you finish.
