Description
To be awarded the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning & Development, you’ll need to successfully complete three core units, three specialist units and an additional specialist unit of your choice. Most learners spread the seven units over 18 months, spending two or three months on each unit.
This qualification is also available as a package with an additional Fast-track CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management, achievable by completing an extra two CMI units.
Core units:
Organisational Performance and Culture in Practice (5CO01): Understand how organisational culture is formed and the role of leadership in shaping it.
Evidence-Based Practice (5CO02): Gather and analyse evidence to support effective decision-making.
Professional Behaviours and Valuing People (5CO03): Learn how personal and ethical values can be applied, including contributing to discussions with confidence and conviction to influence others.
Specialist units:
Supporting Self-Directed and Social Learning (5LD01)
Learning and Development to Design and Create Value (5LD02)
Facilitate Personalised and Performance Focused Learning (5LD03)

Ideal for those with existing L&D knowledge to progress to management level.
Requirements
This course is suitable for you if you meet one of the following criteria:
Experienced in an entry or mid-level HR or L&D role
Educated to degree level and seeking to study L&D at a higher level than the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate
Looking to step into a managerial role such as Learning & Development Manager (with typical salaries from £50,000 to £80,000)

Career path
The qualification leads to roles including L&D Business Partner or Manager (with typical salaries from £44,100-£59,000).
It is equivalent to a second year undergraduate degree programme and is an ideal pathway to CIPD Advanced qualifications.
