Your work experience can be completed day, evening or weekends. It is delivered online, working as part of the accounting team in a UK company.

The unpaid work experience can be between 1-4 months, part or full-time. The more you do, the better it will look on your CV, and the more likely the employer can gauge the value you bring to their team. Typically, 1 in 4 students gains work from their work experience, with others going on to be employed by other employers because of the work experience.

What will I study in the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and AAT level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting package?

There are 4 modules to complete in the Level 2 qualification. At the end of each module you will sit an exam as follows:

Introduction to Bookkeeping - 1 exam (90 mins)

Principles of Bookkeeping Controls - 1 exam (90 mins)

Principles of Costing - 1 exam (90 mins)

The Business Environment Synoptic Assessment- 1 exam (120 mins)

There are 4 modules to complete at Level 3. At the end of each module you will sit an exam as follows:

Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements - 1 exam

Management Accounting Techniques - 1 exam

Tax Processes for Businesses - 1 exam

Business Awareness - 1 exam

There are 5 modules to complete at Level 4. At the end of each module you will sit an exam as follows:
