After completing this course developed and updated by tree surgery professionals over many years, you will know where and how to plant trees, what varieties of trees to plant, how to transplant trees from one place to another and how to protect young trees. You will also have a good basic working knowledge of tree biology, soil chemistry in relation to trees, diagnosing tree problems, tree surgery, the right equipment to use in tree work, plus important workplace health and safety knowledge.
Once you have completed this course, you can extend your skills and level of expertise even further with our follow on intermediate course: Arboriculture II and/or Trees for Rehabilitation.
