TQUK Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate
Assessment
Assessments are a great way of checking your progress allowing you to apply your learning to real-world situations. Through the Teaching Assistant Certificate , you will be assessed by a series of written assignments, which are submitted to and marked by your tutor.
All assignments are set by The Learning College. Upon verification of the activities, exercises and assignments, a certificate of achievement will be awarded by the college, as confirmation that your written work has met all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the course.
Please note: There is no examination required for this course.
What’s included:
You will have access to a tutor, via email and telephone, who will mark your work and guide you through the course to help you prepare for your assignments. You will be provided with all course materials in order for you to be guided through your course content. Full tutor support is offered throughout the course to ensure your learning outcomes are met to a satisfactory standard.
Study Time
Study Hours are an approximate figure and are dependent upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. You should allow enough time to complete assignments/ question papers to ensure satisfactory outcomes are met.
The approximate amount of time required to complete the Teaching Assistant Certificate is: 24 hrs
Additional certification fee will apply upon completion of your qualification.

Answer:Good afternoon Melissa, Thank you for your questions. No, for the Award Level 3 it is NOT mandatory to have a placement within a school in order to study it and pass it. With it being a Government Regulated Qualification, you will be able to secure a job upon it's compeltion too. The Award was designed to enalbe persons without a school placement to study, pass and then work with children between the ages of 4 1/2 to 18 years. This covers both Primary and Secondary schools across the UK.
