Course Curriculum:
Introduction:
In this unit, you will be introduced to SQL Server and its basic concepts. You will learn about the different versions of SQL Server and their features.
Setup:
In this unit, you will learn how to install and set up SQL Server on your computer. You will also learn how to create a database and tables in SQL Server.
Basic Queries:
This unit covers the basic SQL commands for retrieving data from tables. You will learn how to use the SELECT statement to retrieve data and the WHERE clause to filter data.
Security:
In this unit, you will learn how to manage security in SQL Server. You will learn how to create users and roles, assign permissions to them, and manage logins.
MSSQL and Different Drivers:
This unit covers different drivers available for SQL Server and their functionalities. You will learn how to choose the right driver for your application and how to work with ODBC and OLE DB.
Files:
In this unit, you will learn about files and filegroups in SQL Server. You will learn how to create and manage filegroups, and how to move data between filegroups.
General:
This unit covers general topics related to SQL Server, including backup and restore performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
How is the course assessed?
Upon completing an online module, you will immediately be given access to a specifically crafted MCQ test. For each test, the pass mark will be set to 60%.
