Tommica asked:

What is the main difference(s) between the Business Proposal Writing course and the Proposal Writing Course.

Answer:

Good morning Tommica, Thank you for your question. The main difference is that the Proposal Writing course will take participants through each step of the proposal writing process whilst the Business Writing course will give learners a refresher on basic writing concepts (such as spelling, grammar, and punctuation), and an overview of the most common business documents. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance. Kind regards, Rita

Dermot asked:

Is proposal writing the same as bid writing? Does it require the same skills as tender and bid writing? Thank you

Answer:

Good morning Dermot, Thank you for your message. A project proposal is like a bid in some ways. It's usually written when a prospective client needs more information and persuasion about your abilities and how you can fulfill their needs. Before writing a proposal it's important to understand what the project is, what the client requires, and the core goals. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind regards, Rita MTG Support Team

Andrew asked:

What is the pattern of questions? Is it Multiple Choice Questions or tutor support by writing assignments?

Answer:

Good morning Andrew, Thank you for contacting us. The end of course assessment has 20 questions (a combination of single-choice, multiple-choice, fill in the blanks and reordering answers). The pass mark for this assessment is 80%. You can attempt the end of course assessment as many times as required. However, the questions will change each time you reattempt. Should you require any further support, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind regards Dan MTG Support Team

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
