In order to answer these questions, inspire London College established this video training course in which you will learn the range of problems arises in the workplace, how they can controlled and solved. You will also gain a solid understanding of the three main areas in which problems can occur: people, tasks and resources. This course also teaches you the equality act 2010 and how it applies to discrimination.

There will be a coverage of time wasting due to individual actions and poorly organised work systems and how to ensure time at work is spent productively. This course also covers resource problems, such as insufficient raw materials or equipment. This course also teaches you some ways through which problems can be solved by the actions of managers, employees and outside organisations. Finally, this course will help investigate arbitration, negotiation, compromise, conciliation and mediation to resolve conflicts and many other benefits that bring resolution in the workplace.

Upon completing this problem-solving at the workplace course, you will be able to identify the problems and their root causes within the work environment. You will be able to understand discrimination and know the relationship to the Equality Act 2010. You will recognise and understand the implication of time wasting in work and how it occurs. You can identify the best ways to resolve adverse situations and know the benefits of conflict resolution.

COURSE OUTLINE

The problem-solving in the workplace course comprises two different modules, which are as follows;

  • Introduction and People Problems
  • Problems with Tasks
  • Successful Resolutions

DURATION

The total duration of problem-solving in a workplace - video content is 30 Minutes; it does not include the time taken to read, analyse and attempt the quiz or conduct any other research.

Learners can access the Learning Platform 24/7. The time to complete the course depends on the learner’s pace and the time dedicated to training. Though the course is self-paced, the learner will be given a maximum period of 12 Months from the date of enrolment. Learners may request an extension, but ILC holds the right to close/lock the course after the completion of 12 Months.

ASSESSMENT

After successful enrolment, the learner will get access to the Learning Platform, where the training material is available. The training is in video format, and each module has many videos.

3-5 Multiple Choice Questions follow each module. You can review the video content as often as you like and submit the test once satisfied with the answers. The minimum pass score is 80%, and you will have three attempts to pass the test for each module. But, if in any condition, you cannot pass in three attempts, you can request three more attempts for all modules, after which all modules will be locked.

ACCREDITATION

The courses offered by Inspire London College are approved and accredited by The CPD Certification Services and different organisations in specific fields, including IIRSM (International Institute of Risk and Safety Management), IATP (Independent Asbestos Training Providers), and IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers).
