Description
This beginner to intermediate course helps learners understand how PowerShell can be used to make routine technical work faster and more consistent.
Learners will explore the basics of running commands, using parameters, reading command output, filtering results and exporting information into useful reports. The course also covers safer working habits, including read-only checks, comments, transcripts, WhatIf, approval notes and testing before making changes.
The course includes examples for common Windows tasks such as checking device information, reviewing disk space, listing processes, collecting event log evidence, testing network connections, checking services and building a small reusable toolkit.
Rather than focusing on advanced programming, this course is designed around real workplace situations. Learners are encouraged to practise in a safe test environment and build confidence step by step.
By the end of the course, learners should be able to run basic PowerShell commands, create simple reports, understand common support outputs and use scripts more safely.
