Course Aims

To provide expert-level skills for managing complex, multi-faceted projects in Microsoft Project, including advanced scheduling, cross-project resource management, and detailed reporting.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

  • Manage advanced task relationships, including lead and lag, and conduct detailed critical path analysis.
  • Consolidate multiple project files and apply resource sharing across multiple projects.
  • Customise project fields, tables, and visual indicators for tailored project tracking.
  • Create automated and customised project reports, integrating data visuals and trends.
  • Leverage integration options to export data and collaborate with other Microsoft 365 tools like Power BI and Excel​

You’ll need the desktop version of Microsoft Project installed to complete the hands-on work.

Requirements

Delegates should have completed the Intermediate course or possess strong proficiency in resource management, baselines, and reporting in Microsoft Project.
