Description
Course Curriculum:
Unit 1 provides an introduction to SQL programming and its importance in the tech industry. Unit 2 covers the setup of course tools, including how to install an SQL server and set up an SQL management studio. Unit 3 covers how to browse and filter data, and Unit 4 introduces the AND, OR, and NOT operators for filtering data.
In Unit 5, students will learn how to perform math operations in SQL, and Unit 6 covers string concatenation. Unit 7 focuses on sorting, alias names, and limiting records, while Unit 8 covers NULL, DISTINCT, and CASE statements.
Unit 9 and 10 cover functions in SQL, including multiple-row functions and single-row functions. Unit 11 covers nested queries, and Unit 12 covers casting and data conversion. In Unit 13, students will learn about the combination of relationships, and Unit 14 covers join in SQL.
Unit 15 and 16 cover data manipulation and SQL data definition language, respectively. By the end of the course, students will have a deep understanding of SQL programming and be able to apply their skills in a real-world setting.
How is the course assessed?
Upon completing an online module, you will immediately be given access to a specifically crafted MCQ test. For each test, the pass mark will be set to 60%.
