Overview

The objective of the Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification is to develop learners’ understanding of policy, management theory and practice in health and social care. It provides learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals, services users and policy makers in their own country.

It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective manager in the hospitals/social care industry. It combines both theoretical and practical knowledge in the health and social care professionals. The qualification will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of leading change, effective performance, planning and accountability, development and team leadership. Learners will be able to work in a variety of roles within health care administration and/or management.

Successful completion of the Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study towards a relevant Master’s degree with advanced standing.

Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management includes the following 6 units. Each unit has 20 credits and at the end of the course, learners will be able to achieve 120 credits.

  1. Health and Social Care Leadership (20 credits)
  2. Managing People in Health and Social Care (20 credits)
  3. Managing Finance in Health and Social Care (20 credits)
  4. Health and Social Care Strategies and Policies (20 credits)
  5. Leading Change in Health and Social Care (20 credits)
  6. Research Methods for Healthcare Professionals (20 credits)

How will you study?

Students will study with Cambridge Management and Leadership School on its Virtual Learning Platform, accessible 24/7, in a flexible way to study entirely online.

Duration (flexible)

Students are allowed to study flexible to complete the qualification in six months to twelve months. Extra time is allowed without any extra charge/fee.

Assessment Methods

Assessment methods include only assignments. You will be required to submit an assignment of each unit to meet the learning objective of the unit.

Results and Certificate

Learners must complete eight units successfully and achieve 120 credits before the qualification certificate and final transcript are issued by the awarding body “OTHM Qualifications”.

After completion of the Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, you will be eligible for MSC Health and Social Care Management (Dissertation stage).

Total fees is £800 tuition and £800 exams/assessment cost which includes all assignments, awarding body/accreditation registration and at the end certificates. Assessment fees can be paid in instalments of £100/month if you wish to complete the course in 12 months or £160/month if you wish to complete course in 6 months.

At reed, we do not have an instalment plan facility. Assessments are assignments only, after purchase you have an option to pay assessment fees via instalments. Learners will pay £900 Assessment Fee for eight units (120 credits) either full with additional 15% discounts (fee payable:£765) OR Learners can pay £900 assessment fees in 9 monthly instalments of £100/month. No resit/re-submission cost.

This is the highest managerial level qualification in health and social care. Normally students study our Level 5 diploma in health and social care for a managerial role. You can study with us Level 8 & then DBA degree.

Hi, MSC health and social care management top up cost is £3500, we also offer £500 discount to our students who study from us. We just upgrade learners 120 credits to top up dissertation only. Degree is awarded by the University of Chichester.
