The Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management is designed to develop an understanding and knowledge of facilities management matters. It develops factual, procedural and theoretical knowledge and understanding to complete tasks that while well defined, may be complex and non-routine. It develops the ability to interpret and evaluate relevant information and ideas, and different perspectives or approaches.
This course offers opportunities for learners to develop skills that support career and professional development.
The course covers 4 mandatory units:
Introduction to Facilities Management
Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability in Facilities Management
Customer and Stakeholder Relations in Facilities Management
Specification and Procurement of Facilities Supplies and Services
Health and Safety responsiblities in FM
followed by 5 optional units from a wide choice of optional units , thus offering a flexible approach to suit your chosen area. Optional units include:
Budget management of facilities management operations (4 credits)
Project Management in Facilities Management (5 credits)
Health and Safety Responsibilities in Facilities Management (5 credits)
