Aim of the 4 week programme for PAs and Executive PAs:

Module 1: Working for Directors & the Board

This module covers: How to be 10 Steps Ahead of your Executive, Client Management, Coordination of the Executive Team, Board Packs & Meeting Agendas, Managing your Time, How to Handle Multiple Requests and How to Develop Critical Thinking Skills to Problem Solve as an Executive Assistant

Module 2: Strategy, Corporate Governance & Financial Awareness for Executive PAs

This Modules focuses on Understanding Organisations and How Business Strategy is set. Topics covered include Corporate Governance and the Role of Chairman, CEOs & Boards of Directors. You will increase your awareness of Financial Terminology, Company Accounts and Business Finance. This Module will enable you as the Executive Assistant to support your Manager's many business interests.

Module 3: People Management, Delegation & Relationship Building

A Review of What is People Management which will focus on Working with Teams, the Art of Delegation, how to build Emotional Resilience and Mastering Interview Techniques to manage Junior Staff as an Executive Assistant.

Module 4: The Executive PA Business Partner

You will explore the qualities required of a C-suite level Executive PA/Executive Assistant and how to bring those qualities into your current role. You will explore how to further develop the partnership you have with your Executive so you work more effectively together. As an Executive Assistant you may have to represent your Executive at meetings and this Module will explain the protocol when attending business meetings. On this Module you will complete an assessment of your Management Capabilities as an Executive PA or Executive Assistant. This Module will upgrade your Professionalism and Leadership abilities.

Follow up support for Executive PAs: Receive handouts and activities to assess and reflect on your learning and receive a follow up 1:1 Mentoring Call after completion of the training. Small cohorts for intense learning and sharing.

This course offers a complimentary CPD Standards Office Certificate. Salaries of PAs and Executive PAs are £35k to £55k. This programme will assist in your goal to progress as as Executive PA or PA and move up the career ladder to become a Senior Executive PA or Executive Assistant.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
