Description
Description We know how important it is to have good relationships at the workplace. That's not always an easy thing to do. However, it can be done. We start this course with tips for connecting with your co-workers, how to talk with them and how to socialize with them outside of work (and what not to do!). Many people have difficulty dealing with obnoxious or aggressive co-workers, and you'll learn how to be assertive with these co-workers. Now, there are some workplaces that will punish you for being assertive, so I teach you when to be assertive and even whether to be assertive. If you work in an environment that is high-powered, demanding and requires excellence from its employees, it can be somewhat intimidating to deal with management. This section gives you many suggestions on how to interact with management in a confident manner. Have you ever been faced with a difficult boss or been mistreated by a boss? This is one of the more challenging situations to handle at work. There are ways to deal effectively with such a boss, and you'll learn what to do and when.
