Level 3 Diploma in Applied Statistics has been designed to introduce learners to the purpose and aims of statistical analysis and the main statistical techniques that can be used within organisations. This will provide information and support decision-making and an understanding of how statistics are used and may be misused in this context. The units give learners the knowledge to identify and use relevant statistical information in a business context and to interpret and validate statistical information, identifying any bias, as well as to produce information of their own. They will learn the main statistical techniques used in business and when and how to apply them and they will gain an understanding of the use of ICT in supporting the collection and analysis of data. The knowledge of statistics will support learners in other areas of study relating to business such as marketing and finance.

The level 3 Diplomas within the IAP are designed to meet the needs of learners who are progressing from a study at Level 2, as well as those who are returning to learning

Hi This is a 60 credit qualification equal to 1 A level and is graded. you should be able to take university admission after completing this course in courses like BA (Hons) Business or Business Management. This can also lead to admission into BSc Applied Statistics

Would it be an evening course? When is the start date or can you enrol to start at any time?

The course is delivered via distance learning. You will self study and there will be zoom lectures and discussed during the induction of the course. We will provide study material like ebooks, presentations, etc you can start the course from 11/09/23

Thanks for your query. The course is offered via distance learning and the tutorial or classes schedule will be discussed with you on Enrolment and induction to the course. Generally, we do 1-2 classes per week and all sessions are recorded. I'd advice 2-3 hours of self study apart from the live lectures for the course. This is a 60 credit or 1 A level equivalent quals. learners study to gained entry into Undergraduate degree in economics, or business subject areas. When do you want to start?
