The combined AAT Foundation Certificate and Advanced Diploma in Accounting course allows study of the first two AAT qualification levels in one convenient, affordable package.
You don't need any experience or qualifications to enrol on this online course, making it perfect for teams that are building their accounting talent. Once completed, graduates will be qualified for mid-level accounting jobs and able to progress to the highest level of AAT study, the Professional Diploma.
The AAT Foundation Certificate will provides a solid grasp of essential accounting skills and principles. Students will explore the basics of manual and computerised accounting and how to use these techniques in a 'real world' setting.
During the AAT Advanced Diploma, students will master more complex financial processes, including VAT for businesses, management accounting costing techniques, advanced spreadsheet skills, and preparing final accounts. The course also covers professional ethics.
In total, these two AAT qualifications are worth 87 UCAS credits. They'll take around 860 hours to complete.
