AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting Q2022 Syllabus

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Diploma in Accounting (Level 3) is an intermediate level qualification aimed at those already working in accounting who looking to develop and refine their accounting skills. It is also the next step for those who have already completed or enrolled on the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2).

This AAT Level 3 Qualification has been developed with experienced Accountants in mind, giving you the real-world knowledge as well as the skillset to carry out advanced accounting tasks in the workplace as part of a professional finance team.

On successful completion of the AAT level 3 Qualification, you will gain the status of a Professional Bookkeeper and be able to use AATQB after your name.

Assessment Information

There are four assessments in total:

When you are ready to take your assessments, you need to book your exam at an AAT approved assessment venue. We can help find the closest ones to you. Exam fees vary from centre to centre, we therefore recommend that you shop around.

Who is this course for?

This course is ideal if you have already completed or enrolled on the AAT Certificate in Accounting (Level 2) and you are looking to validate your Accounting and Finance knowledge to further your accountancy career, however it is not mandatory.

Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements to take the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, however reasonable numeracy and communication skills are needed.

We do require you to be at least 16 years old in order to enrol onto the course.
