The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing existing Windows and SQL Server environments, understanding server dependencies and hosted applications, identifying opportunities for consolidation or retirement, and delivering server upgrade and migration projects.This is a hands-on infrastructure role requiring strong experience of Windows Server and SQL Server upgrades within enterprise environments. Windows Server Migration EngineerRate - £450 (A Day)Duration - 5 months (Initially)Location - London (Hybrid)IR35 - OutsideThe Windows Server Migration Engineer will support the delivery of a large-scale server upgrade Programme, focused on migrating business-critical services from Windows Server 2012 to modern Windows Server platforms. You will work closely with Infrastructure teams, Application Support teams, Managed Service Providers, and business stakeholders to plan, coordinate, validate, and support migration activities throughout the project lifecycle.
