The Role

Reporting directly to and working closely with a Partner, the role will involve executing transactions predominantly in the £5m to £25m deal size range. Transactions will vary and include private equity backed MBO’s, acquisitions, disposals and fund raising. The person appointed will become the central day to day point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction and will need to understand and take ownership of key aspects of a transaction including drafting of Information Memorandums, modelling and project management/deal execution.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a high performer with a strong academic background and at least two years corporate finance experience within a major accountancy practice, corporate finance boutique or investment bank. For candidates with strong relevant experience, ACA/ACCA qualification is not essential. We are looking for strong analytical skills as well as the ability to work to tight reporting deadlines. Communication skills will include verbal and written acumen along with the ability to build relationships based on trust with a wide range of people including business owners and other professionals. Working as part of a small team on a strong and consistent deal flow and closely with a highly experienced partner, there will be the opportunity to gain significant corporate finance experience and rapid career progression.
