Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at learners looking to qualify as a LV3 Teaching Assistant whilst also incorporating the units required to work 1-1 with special needs children. If you wish to fully qualify as a SEN Teaching Assistant, then this course allows you to apply for this specialist role upon successful completion.

Requirements

No previous qualifications are required.

A placement either employed or voluntary is required for a minimum of 1 day per week for the duration of the whole Course. The placement must be in a classroom setting (Reception or above). International Students must be based in a school that follows the UK Curriculum

Be aged 16 Years or above
Possess a solid knowledge of the English language
Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
Basic computer skills: e.g. Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc
Have a genuine desire to succeed
