Module sample

First steps into writing
Whether you are planning to write a novel, a non-fiction book or your memoirs this introduction module will focus on tried and tested methods that accomplished writers use to capture their thoughts and ideas onto paper. You will be experimenting with different types of writing that you might want to try and look at how your work should be presented to agents and editors, so that you can organise your writing in a manner that will save you time once you have finished your book.

Genres and Styling
So far you have worked on your plot and character development so the next step is to learn about creating settings for different types of genres of fiction and styling your work to sustain that genre in a captivating way.

Writing for a specific genre
This module focuses on different types of genre. If you have already picked the genre you would like to focus on, you may choose to focus on the sections most relative to you. Alternatively, you might find it useful to work through all the sections, so that you have a variety of choices when choosing your genre. You might discover interest towards a genre of writing you never thought you had interest in.
