What is Phonics and why is the study so important? The study of Phonics is basically study of how words are pronounced. It supports participants develop key skills to teach reading to children in mainstream classes as well as those with reading related difficulties

The Teaching Phonics Advanced Course will explore in much greater details the key skills to confidently teach phonics to children, including children with different reading related difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and more. This course will further provide insight and understanding into this supporting children learning to read, as well as helping parents and teachers, giving learners the skills and knowledge to confidently work in this field.
