Microsoft SQL Server is a management system for relational databases and uses query language SQL and T-SQL is his extension. Transact-SQL is an essential skill for data professionals and developers working with SQL databases. Through this beginners training you shall be understanding the fundamentals and the most important Transact-SQL (T-SQL) tasks.

  • Data Types – We shall understand data types such as
  • Numeric, Character, Date and Time, Binary and Others
  • Operators – We look at the operators such as Arithmetic Operators, Comparison Operators, Logical Operators and Compound Operators.
  • Functions- Here we will see String Functions, Date and Time Functions, Aggregate Functions, System Functions, Security Functions, Metadata Functions and Configuration Functions
  • Select Query – Under select query we will see queries such as Group By, Having, Order By, Where, Between, Like, Exists, In, Some and Any
  • Joins – Here we see Inner Join, Left Join, Right Join and Self Join
    By the end of this training, you will be very comfortable using T-SQL.
