What you will learn:
In this short improvers course, you will build upon some of the basic Spanish words and phrases you will already be familiar with and will talk about every objects, money and shopping. You’ll also learn how to describe your home, its furniture and public places as well as expressing time, days and dates.
What happens in the class (format/activities):
There will be lots of different activities during the classes including plenty of opportunity to practice your Spanish. You will listen to different audio clips and take part in class exercises as well as working through specific exercises to help you retain new vocabulary.
At the end of the class you should be able to:
Read, speak and understand a range of common Spanish words, number forms and phrases. You will also have a basic understanding of the correct pronunciation of the letters used the Spanish language. You will be able to read larger numbers and talk more about yourself, your home as well as become more confident at shopping and exploring leisure activities.
What you will need to know before you enrol:
There’s nothing to do except turn up with an open mind, ready to learn and enjoy! (Of course, practice makes perfect and the more time you can put in outside class hours can really help you progress!)

Nothing fancy and just the basics are needed (Pen and paper).

This is an improvers Spanish course so you will need to have studied the basics to gain full advantage of the sessions. You will already be familiar with the basics such as pronunciation, the Spanish alphabet and basic numbers and you should be able to identify colours and other descriptions relating to people and places.
