Description

Any business selling alcohol, including small pubs,
retailers, large nightclubs, cafés, restaurants, hotels
and sports facilities may need trained security
staff qualified as door supervisors who hold an SIA
licence.

A level 2 award for working as a door supervisor
within the private security industry qualification is
required by law for an individual to apply for a SIA
licence to work as a door supervisor.

Courses last 5 days with Mandatory emergency first aid at work training delivered on the first day.

ALL LEARNERS MUST BE MEDICALLY FIT IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN FIRST AID AND PHYSICAL INTERVENTION UNITS

Who is this course for?

The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace. It is designed for learners wishing to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor and is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning and qualifications.

Requirements

To register for this qualification, learners must be aged 18 and over.
Learners will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate* that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Any learners without the required First Aid Qualification MUST ATTEND our Emergency First Aid at Work training which is delivered the day before an SIA door supervisor level 2 course is due to begin. All door supervisor level 2 courses have first aid training included.

Any qualified first aider wanting to attend course must provide certificate prior to start of SIA training.
