Requirements:

An Honours degree/diploma or equivalent in radiography; at least 2 years' full-time clinical experience; students must also have mentoring support from appropriate personnel at their workplace for those modules with a clinical element; interview; registry with the UK Health and Care Professions Council; applicants whose 1st language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Assessment Methods:

Assessment is through case studies; research protocols; dissertation; essays; portfolios; practical assessment; OSCE; reflective log book.

Modules include: Assessing and supervising in the workplace; breast cancer treatment, management and care; cancer management; computed tomography I: principles; dissertation; foundation to image interpretation; managing continual professional development; management of people in the workplace; quality and professional issues in health care; radiotherapy practice; research methods; self-managed learning in the workplace; digital imaging in healthcare; external beam radiotherapy planning; image-guided radiotherapy verification; management of people in the workplace.
