About us
My courses are designed based on my many years as a teacher and student of education and business. I hold a master's degree in business education and have been designing curricula, teaching, and doing corporate training for almost 15 years.
I was born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho. I attended the University of Idaho where I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Human Resources in 2004. After a few years in the workforce as an account manager I moved to Vietnam where I lived for 9 years.
After arriving in Vietnam, I and a small group of motivated individuals launched and ran a sports training company called Saigon Sports Academy. We coached sports such as football, chess, tennis, and basketball as well as ran large sporting events such as tournaments and leagues. After 5 years of building the business, I led the successful sale of the company to a local conglomerate (XLE Vietnam, owner of the Saigon Heat pro basketball franchise).
I hope that my experience and expertise are valuable to you as you pursue your life's endeavors.
After 15 years of doing corporate training for organizations of all sizes, I know that my courses work. And since everyone has unique goals when pursuing continuing education, I have chosen to create training courses across a wide spectrum of topics including sales, management, investing and planning.
I'm confident that those who chose my courses and are prepared to work hard to apply their lessons in the real world will be richly rewarded. And hopefully, have a lot of fun in the process!
Why choose us
What a few of my students think of the courses they have enrolled in:
Tax Strategies of the Wealthy
Orane C. '' Excellent course for persons wanting to know more about the tax system and how to leverage it to maximize savings and build wealth.
Great tips shared throughout course to ensure you are not over paying taxes as most persons currently do.''
Teach Like a Champion
Joann C. '' I really liked this course.
I've been teaching in the public school system (in Korea as a Native English Teacher) for 2 years now (already started my 3rd). Some of what he covered I won't have to deal with here (like talking to parents) but it was good to be reminded of all the other things (like classroom management, teacher-student relations, relationships with admin and superiors, etc.) that I can do and apply.
I did not study education in university, so it was interesting to hear what is and is not covered in teaching education programs. I also got glimpses of what it's like to teach in the States (I never have).
I feel I learned a few things that perhaps I subconsciously knew, but needed to have pointed out. Overall, I'm glad I got this course.
Thank you!''
Investing Strategies of the Wealthy
Philip L.'' Solid advice on most everything presented. Knowing the difference between a want and a need and living below your means as well as having patience is key. Invest in yourself with training, time, and courage.
In real-estate, the situation is not as simple as the author makes it. Rent control, labor costs, taxes, and hostile communities (i.e. impossible to evict), as well as very high costs of real estate, can make this a very poor and dangerous investment. In some states (i.e. not California), it is a very good investment.''
