PRINCE2 Practitioner is the final level of certification available for PRINCE2 and stands to signify your proficiency with the PRINCE2 method and your ability to lead projects according to its Principles, Themes and Processes. PRINCE2 is one of the most widely adopted Project Management methodologies in the UK, with many organisations around the world implementing it as well.

PRINCE2 is a best practice methodology – meaning that it has been proven to work through experience. This stands as assurance that every action outlined by the PRINCE2 method is necessary and important.

Before studying this level of PRINCE2, you must have completed and earned the certificate for the previous level, PRINCE2 Foundation. Foundation introduces the important concepts which Practitioner builds upon.

Description

A Project Manager not only leads the project but also ensures that the project is on course according to the plans laid out and is not straying from the set budget or time constraints. All of these duties are vital to the success of the overall project, and so it stands to reason that a person with a guided plan is in charge. PRINCE2 provides you with the structure for that plan.

This PRINCE2 Practitioner online course includes the most recent updates to the PRINCE2 methodology, as published by AXELOS in 2017. The changes introduced in the 2017 version of the manual serve to highlight what makes the method successful.

The Practitioner level of training expands upon what you learnt in Foundation while going into more detail in some areas, as well as introducing tailoring.
