Module 01
This module will teach you about the Pharmacy Technician in the UK. What is Pharmacy Technician, UK Status, Pay and Opportunities, How Could the Pharmacy Technician Role Expand.
Module 02
In this module, you will learn all about Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy and Healthcare, Pharmacy Technician, Terminology, Drug Regulation & Control, Prescriptions, Numbers, Routes & Formulations.
Module 03
This module will teach you about What is Pharmacy. Technician Pharmacy: the art or practice of preparing, compounding and dispensing drugs or medicines according to prescriptions of prescribers. Pharmacy Technicians are skilled and essential members of the pharmacy team, who prepare, dispense, supply and issue a wide range and variety of medicines to patients.
Module 04
In this module, you will learn all about UK Status. Traditionally, pharmacy technicians have worked alongside pharmacists in community and hospital pharmacy. Changes within pharmacy provide an opportunity for role expansion and develop the current pharmacy technician role.
Module 05
This module will teach you about PHARMACY TECHNICIAN. Technician training is generally based on job requirements for the specific workplace, particular skills involved, any applicable professionals-cards, and state regulations. Specific training and certification requirements are set by each state’s board of pharmacy.
Method of Assessment:
Upon completion of the course, you will be required to sit for an online multiple-choice quiz based assessment, which will determine whether you have passed the course (60% pass mark). The test will be marked immediately and results will be published instantly.
Certification
After successfully completing the course, you will be able to obtain the certificates. You can claim a PDF certificate by paying a little processing fee of £2. There is an additional fee to obtain a hardcopy certificate which is £9.
