Unit 2: National Insurance contributions for both

Employees and Employers

  • Be able to calculate National Insurance contributions for both employer and the employee

Unit 3: PAYE

  • Be able to calculate income Tax
  • Understand why P45 is required
  • Understand why emergency tax code is used

Unit 4: Statutory pay such as sick pay; Statutory maternity and paternity.

Learn how to run a payroll system using a payroll software. You will get introduced to payroll programs such as HMRC PAYE and Bright Pay. Bright pay works the same as sage and it is a strong payroll software.

Students will be assessed via quizzes and coursework.

Duration and Certificate of completion:

Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. You will be awarded a certificate in Payroll Administration from E-training plus a CPD certificate for an extra £9.99 in introduction to payroll management.

This course suits anyone seeking to get into Payroll. A Basic skill in numeracy is required and an interest to study.
