1st session:

  • Definition and Characteristics of ‘Outside-the-Box’

2nd session:

  • What a ‘Box’ in ‘Out-of-box’ is
  • How to step out of your comfort zone to create new possibilities

3rd session:

  • Thinking inside-the-Box and thinking in new boxes
  • Rules of Unconventional thinking

4th session:

  • Lateral thinking, techniques, and requirements
  • Enablers, disablers, and outputs of Lateral thinking

5th session:

  • Creativity and lateral thinking
  • Problem-solving with lateral thinking

6th session:

  • Process of out-of-box thinking

  • Enablers, disablers, and techniques of out-of-box thinking

7th session:

  • Discover how to unlock your 'Zone of Genius’

8th session:

  • Questions to define problems and the plan to solve the problems

Materials:

Electronic copies of slides in the form of PDF workbook. A certificate will be provided at the end of the course.

Duration:

Online: 24 Hours divided in eight online sessions, each session will be around three hours with a 15-minute break. the dates and times will be agreed with the students once they have purchased the course.

On-site: 3-day course (consecutive days) only in the client's offices when organisations purchase the course for their managers and employees. The price for 5 day workshop in client's offices for the organizations in the UK will be 3000 Pounds.

About the workshop?

The workshop is planned in three levels from introducing the concept to advanced issues. The workshop instructor will be Kambiz Bidad, former business manager of Lloyds Register. He has planned and run more than 50 workshops on out-of-box thinking, innovation and strategy articulation processes.
