Description

This course will give you a great foundational understanding of networking, covering the basics of topology, hardware, troubleshooting and network configuration. With this knowledge, you will be ready to apply for entry-level networking positions.

Cisco is known internationally as setting the standard for both networking training and network hardware, and Cisco certifications are viewed in high regard by organisations around the world.

After you have completed this CCENT certification, you can go onto studying the Cisco Certified Network Associate level of the Cisco networking certifications if you choose to further your networking studies.

What you will learn

In this course, you will learn about TCPIP, Ethernet LANs and WANs, as well as the difference between IPv4 and IPv6 and how to use them. Additionally, you will learn how to configure hosts, the difference between static and dynamic routing and how to configure LANs and VLANs.
