Overview
Our SIA door supervisor course is an excellent learning experience for anyone wanting to start a career as a door supervisor in the UK. Our course includes essential knowledge and skills you will need to have to be able to successfully apply for your SIA licence and start working in the growing and ever needed industry.

Covid Safe teaching environment
All learners will be offered a Free Rapid Antigen Covid Test at the beginning of the Course.
All our training courses will operate in a Covid-Safe manner.
Learners will be seated 2 meters apart in a well-ventilated classroom.
All learners will be screened for Covid-19 symptoms like temperature checks and/or any new continuous cough and/or a loss of smell/taste.
Ensuring each learner thoroughly sanitises their hands and uses a face mask and other necessary PPE at all times within the premises.

Course media
Description
To get a qualification in door supervision, you must take 4 training modules and pass 3 exams.
The modules you must study are:
- SIA’s ‘Common’ module
- Door supervision module
- Conflict management module
- Physical intervention skills module
Our fully qualified and experienced instructors will guide you through all the steps of your learning experience, making sure that you feel positive and confident by the time you will take your final exams.
The SIA door supervisor course will give you an instant opportunity for employment across the booming £6 billion private security industry, opening doors to hundreds of new roles. An SIA Licence holder can earn between £1800 - £3000 a month.
How to get your Door Supervisor Licence
Getting your SIA Door Supervisor Licence may seem complicated, but it’s actually quite easy! All you need to do is follow the simple steps:
Pass the Door Supervisor Course
The Door Supervisor Course takes 6 days to complete. The training course is assessed by 4 multiple choice exams and various practical assessments.
Complete the licence application on the SIA website
The cost of starting a licence application is £210. The SIA will get back to you with a response in due course.
Complete identity checks
You will need to verify your identity to satisfy parts of your SIA application, namely your photo ID. The easiest way to do this is at the Post Office. You can also have someone with a British passport, who is not related to you, sign the back of your photo ID.
Submit an application to the SIA
The SIA will verify your identity and run a background check on your criminal record. If you have lived abroad for 6 months or more, you may be required to provide some additional supporting evidence.
Receive your 3-year licence in the post
You are finally licensed! Your SIA door supervisor licence is valid for 3 years.
