Overview

The Mediation and Conflict Resolution Level 4 Diploma will provide you with the knowledge and skills to negotiate, mediate, manage and resolve issues and support decision making in a wide range of professional settings. The program draws on current practices to deal with conflicts ranging from small individual disputes to large scale, international, and multi-party conflicts. The program offers studies in conflict and cross cultural conflict resolution. The multidisciplinary nature of conflict resolution is reflected in this program, which will appeal to those with diverse backgrounds and cultures, including political science and international studies, law, medicine, business, social science, education and the arts.

The course fee covers registration, learning materials (PDF/eBooks) and assessment. Certification is subject to a single payment of £15 for soft-copy and £20 for printed version payable to the UK Home College.

Description

The Mediation and Conflict Resolution program helps to build a common understanding and framework for working through challenging conflict situations. We have, after much research, decided to focus on the Win-Win Approach using the three critical skills of conflict resolution - Negotiation, Assertiveness and Persuasion. These skills will enable the participants to develop conflict resolutionstrategies for quickly and effectively recognising, resolving and preventing conflict.
