Learning Outcomes
At the end of this diploma course, participants will be awarded with Library Management Diploma, and will also be able to:
- Manage the day-to day operations, financial objectives, and marketing of library program.
- Administer policies, makes policy recommendations, and provide staff support and information.
- Supervise library personnel, hire and train employees, assign and monitor work, and evaluate library personnel
- Review and approve selection of all collection materials for purchase.
- Evaluate library services and makes recommendations for improvements, work with elected officials, school officials and civic organizations to develop programs and partnerships.
- Administer maintenance of library facilities and equipment
- Direct and supervise the training of library staffs in duties such as receiving, shelving, researching, cataloging, preservation, and equipment use.
