Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management

The qualification is suitable for construction managers overseeing projects.

You must be in a management role and be able to demonstrate the necessary skills to cover assessment criteria.

This includes:

  • obtaining and implementing H&S information for the organisation of safe methods of work in the workplace
  • planning and organising work activities in line with the project’s programme of works
  • allocating tasks for subcontractors and other teams involved in the process
  • implement cost and quality control of the project

Who is this course for?

The course is for a project manager that oversees a subcontracting company or is part of the project’s managing team. It will improve the knowledge and understanding when managing a project and a construction team.

Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, part of the NVQ is assessed practically on site and you must provide evidence of working in a project manager role.

Career path

Once you have achieved the NVQ you can apply for the black CSCS card.
