Questions and answers
Would this qualification enable you to work in nursery schools?
Answer:Thank you for yur emauiry. The course is intended for teaching and learning assistants in schools but would also allow supervised employment in a nursery. It would not however meet the full level requirements for working unsupervised in a nursery which requires a competence based level 3 qualification assessed in the workplace..
This was helpful. Is advanced learner loan available for learners or any other funding a available?
Answer:We understand that the qualification is eligible for an advanced learner loan but have never yet had a student follow this route. As a commercial organisation, I regret that we must charge all of our students the course fee and hence there are no discounts or funding available available.
This was helpful. Can I still enroll on this course as I'm struggling to find a school placement due to the covid situation
Answer:Yes - you can enroll on the course and four of the 14 units can be completed before you obtain a placement because these are theory units which do not require in school placement. Te remainder can then be completed once a placement can be obtained but it isn't possible to complete the whole course without a placement.
