Overview

The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is aimed at learners who are already working with children and young people in a supportive role. The Level 3 Certificate incorporates units from the Level 3 Award, building on them by adding competency and performance based learning outcomes including supporting learning activities, behaviour management and health and safety.

Although candidates may be working in an employed or voluntary capacity when taking these qualifications, it is unlikely that volunteers would have the breadth and level of responsibilities needed to complete the Level 3 Certificate. However, if you feel that you have significant experience and responsibilities and are working as a volunteer, please contact the centre to discuss your options. Level 3 qualifications require an advanced level of understanding, research skills and written ability.
