Duration and Delivery
This course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you the best. This fast track level 3 course can take as little as 1 week or up to 4 months. Assessment and Verification
All units within this qualification are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments that demonstrate your ability to apply the proper mathematical procedures and operations, and analyse the outcomes. Moreover, you will be required to provide Witness Testimony and Work Products as supporting pieces of evidence, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor. Work products could include any report, presentation file, or any other documented work that you have performed in your relevant field.
Who is this course for?
This course is the ideal award for those learners who wish to develop their knowledge and personal skills in mathematics as required for entry to specialist teaching qualifications. If you are applying for QTLS and you teach maths or English (numeracy, GCSE, Functional Skills or ESOL) in either the FE and skills sector or in schools you are required to hold at least a Level 3 (i.e. ‘A’ Level) in maths and English. This qualification will provide you with the required level to teach in these environments.
