Description

This classroom based course will cover in depth 4 key learning outcomes based on:

  • Understand roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace.
  • Understand how risk assessments contribute to health and safety.
  • Understand how to identify and control the risks from common workplace hazards.
  • Know the procedures for responding to accidents and incidents in the workplace.

At the end of the training you will be assessed via a short multiple choice question paper. Full support provided.

Who is this course for?

Ideally people already in the workplace or just entering, it would be useful as part of a induction programme.

Requirements

It is recommended that learners have a minimum of Level 1 literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

Learners should be at least 16 years old in order to undertake the qualification.

There are no other pre-requisites for this qualification.

Career path

Progress to a Level 3 Supervisory Health & Safety qualification.
