This specific course run over six days and consists of four units.

  • Working within the Private Security Industry

Description

SIA has made some changes in this course. Its a 6 days course now. Candidate must attend and pass 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work before they start Door Supervision course. The exams will be on the last day. Certificate will be issued by the awarding body and delivered to EDU Training Centre Ltd on successful completion of the course. All resits are free. Other organisation charge for resit between £50 to £100.

Requirements

You must be over 18. You must be able to speak, read and write English. Minimum requirement of English is Level 1. You must have completed 1 day Emergency First Aid at work course before you start Door Supervision course. You must bring for registration a valid ID, proof of address and 2 passport-sized photographs.

Career path

After this course you can also join CCTV course or Close Protection course.

Hi You can't do Door Supervision course online. It must in class.

Do you get a pass or fail decision on the course and if you pass can you start work the next days as security

Answer:

After completing the training and examinations, it takes around 2 weeks for the awarding body to mark the papers. If you pass, they will send us your certificate. If you fail, the re-sits are completely free. You will then apply for your SIA license online. Once you submit your application, you will make your payment for the badge at the Post office. The SIA will then post your badge to you which could take up to 4 weeks. You can start working from the time the SIA issue you your license.

If you are in the UK, then you can participate in the course. Unfortunately, this course is not a distance learning course and so you would have to physically attend it for at least 4 days. We are only offering this course in the UK.

You can have unlimited resits with us. We do not charge for resit exams. We have 90 percent pass rate.

Yes you can do course. Level 1 English is fine but we will also check your English. Our next course is on 4 August 2020.

If you are in UK less than 5 years. Yes you do need a police record or Police clearance certificate from Pakistan. Make sure you signed that from Foreign office in Pakistan.
