Risk factors for infection include older age, history of smoking, chronic lung disease and poor immune function.

This course provides learners with a basic understanding of how Legionnaires’ disease can be transmitted specifically in the healthcare industry, associated signs and symptoms, vulnerable populations, and control and prevention measures.
