This 2 x 4 day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt classroom programme teaches the best in process improvement, Lean and Six Sigma tools/methods and their application through the powerful PMI Improvement Cycle.
The programme is split into two parts of 4 days each, with a month in between. The course uses lectures, group exercises, simulation, webinars and e-Learning to ensure a firm grasp of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and techniques.
Understanding why and how things vary is at the heart of our approach; empowering you to make informed decisions when tackling change.
Part One: (foundation week) you will discover how to define and streamline a process, understand process improvement and to use control charts to make more informed decisions and lock in the improvements you made with process standardisation.
Part Two: you will be introduced to value stream mapping, how to identify waste in a process, how to measure and reduce variation and how to manage change in your organisation, moving towards a culture for continuous improvement.

By the end of our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt programmes, delegates will be able to:
- Understand their role in leading and supporting lean, six sigma, process improvement, variability reduction and standardisation
- Use the tools with individuals and teams working on improvement projects
- Challenge current practices and offer constructive alternatives
- Understand techniques for identifying and removing waste from processes
- Deal with charts for displaying, understanding and reducing variation
- Apply skilled enthusiasm to make a positive difference
- Develop methods for identifying non-conformity (such as in ISO9001 quality system) and then investigate underlying causes, including tools to prevent recurrence
