Overview

Julia is a high-level, high-performance, dynamic programming language mostly used for technical, numerical and statistical computing. It is also becoming increasingly popular for general-purpose programming, web use and as a specification language. It combines the powerful performance of C with the prototyping of Python. Julia programming language derives concepts from established programming languages to develop easy and high performance software. The speed of Julia language is the same as the combined speed of languages C++ and Fortan.

Julia has only been around for a couple of years but has not failed to attract new users every year. It is becoming an increasingly popular choice of developers due to its worthy features. For developers, getting into grips with Julia programming language can benefit their programing career in many ways. This Julia Programming Language online course will take you from complete beginner to intermediate/advanced level in Julia programming. Starting at the very beginning, you will be guided through the installation process and the basic functions and features of Julia. Variables, strings, logical operators, arrays, types, dictionaries, loops, list comprehensions, scope, and modules are all covered to give you a thorough footing in the world of Julia.
