Learn the traditional Indian massage technique known as Champissage. On this Indian Head Massage course, you will learn traditional therapeutic massage techniques that focuses on the back, neck, shoulders face and scalp.

An Indian Head Massage offers many benefits one being relieving stress, tension and pain. The massage can aid relaxation and improve hair conditions. Receiving an Indian Head Massage can be relaxing and is known to heal and balance your body.

Our Tutors have all trained in Kerala, India to ensure the course is taught as per Indian tradition.

Description

This Indian Head Massage is an online practical and we like to keep our classes small ensuring you get the most out of the course. Upon completion of this course you will be awarded with a GWS Accredited Certificate. Professional insurance with Westminster insurance can be obtained after completing this course. You will also learn the relevant anatomy for the course which makes this a comprehensive course.

You can also upgrade to receive the ABT accreditation which requires to be assessed over zoom and is an additional £45 required before the assessment can be booked. This is currently only available during the lockdown restrictions.

Hi Kate, You can get insurance for the qualification after you have successfully submitted your portfolio and have completed the course, this insurance allows you to work on the public. If you require an accreditation from a body such as ABT you can complete the online course and then come to class to demonstrate your practical skills this is an additional cost of £75 and is not included in the cost of this course. Who is the course accredited by in order to get insurance? My insurance provider has refused cover as they don't think this is an accredited course.

Hi Lisa There are a number of options available. The schools accreditation allows you to obtain insurance via westminster insurance. However if you do this course and wish to upgrade to the Association of Beaty Therapists accreditation then there is an extra fee and a practical exam has to take place in Stevenage. Like many others ABT will not accredit practical online courses. I hope this helps.

Well you have successfully completed the course you can gain insurance via Westminster insurance. Obviously there are others and the insurance is an additional cost. But once you have your insurance you can work on the public ( obviously once we are allowed to) please note you do need case studies to complete the course. Thanks

I think we have been on the reed website since 2016 and we are also Ofqual registered. However there is very little I can do as we are not allowed . Hi Kris GWS institute which has been established for over 20 years and is ITEC accredited for over 15 years. All courses have video content and no onsite visits are required. You can upgrade to the ABT accreditation if you search for them you can see who they are as Reed does not allow web links in the message. Hope this helps.
